Imman Meffert drilling with scope $4500.00
This is a very good drilling with lots of extras. It is chambered in 16X16X8X57JR, all the bores are very good with just of a hint of some tiny pits just ahead of the shotgun chambers. The rifle bore is bright and slightly worn. The barrels are 25 ¾” long and the shot barrels choke at F/IM. The gun was made in June 1936. The barrels are Krupp steel and retain 95+% of the blue. The front sight has a fold up ivory bead and the rear sight pops up when the rifle is selected. The scope is not marked as to the maker and has clear optics with a bold post and cross hair. The receiver is made of duralite and is nicely engraved. It has side clips, greener cross bolt and cocking indicators. All the screws are north and south and east and west and have not been touched. There is a Greener side safety with and assist knob on the lever. The rifle trigger is also a single set. The trigger guard is horn and there is one small insect hole. The LOP is 14 ¾” and the wood to metal fit is excellent. There are no old repairs or boo boo’s in the wood. This is a very nice un-fiddled with gun that has a useful rifle caliber.
